I use the GoCycle Goal Setting system to drive my personal and professional goals. I need to walk the walk with you. What works best for me is to walk shoulder and shoulder with you. I am currently in my second cycle with a goal date of September 15. Most recently, when I was a superintendent, I shared my goals with stakeholders. It can be easier to focus on business, districts, school, or team goals. To deflect the attention away from the goals I need to achieve, but my goals. They were my professional goals. I now, for the first time, will share my personal goals. Here I am, as suggested by Brene’ Brown from Dare to Lead, I am vulnerable!
I have a goal date of September 15. I have aligned my goal-setting calendar with others that I work with. This ensures reciprocal accountability. My six key components are Family, Self Care, Community, SwagTron (Mind Body Spirit), Career, and Dependence.

Family
- Everything organized and cleared out
Self Care
- Jam with my friend
Community
- Serve on a board
SwagTron (Mind Body Spirit)
- Continue riding my bike and workouts six days a week
Career
- Five clients (love volume high intensity)
Dependence
- Find a service commitment to support those still struggling
